Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club is a member owned Golf & Country Club developed to serve the golfing and social needs of its members. Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club also provides a variety of social activities, events and services for its members and guests.
Q2. What type of club is Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club?
Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club is an intimate member-owned, equity club with all the amenities to fit healthy and active sports and social lives. We offer fine dining to casual meals; an outstanding golf course, active tennis, bocce and swimming programs to fitness programs and individual trainings.
Q3. What is the primary purpose of Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club?
The primary purpose of Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club is to own and operate a private club, including a golf course, clubhouse, tennis courts, fitness center, swimming pool, restaurant and other facilities common to country club environments, for the pleasure and benefit of its members and their guests.
Q4. What is a member-owned club?
In a member-owned club, members influence the Club by implementing a right to vote. The membership elects a Board of Governors that oversees the operation of the Club. Members own and control the Club Facilities, ultimately determine the rules and costs of membership privileges.
Q5. How do I become a member?
Residents of Eagle Creek are required to purchase an equity membership when purchasing a home. Membership approval is necessary prior to closing. Application and deposit are required 30 days prior to closing. Applicants are required to meet with the Director of Membership, who will explain the membership opportunities. A background check will be done by the Membership Committee who will then recommend you to the Board of Governors for Membership Approval.
Non-Residents of Eagle Creek are required to meet with the Director of Membership, who will explain the membership opportunities available. Q6. Can memberships be transferred directly to any other person?
Memberships are not transferable.
Q7. Is the number of memberships in the Club limited?
There is a cap of 385 Golf Equity Memberships and 128 Social Equity Memberships.
Q8. What types of memberships are offered at Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club?
- Membership Options: Eagle Creek homeowners are required to have either a Golf Equity Membership or a Social Equity Membership. Eagle Creek also offers a limited number of Non-Resident memberships.
- Golf Equity Membership: Golf Equity memberships are available to both residents and non-residents of Eagle Creek. Golf memberships have access and use of all Eagle Creek facilities.
- Social Equity Membership: Social Equity memberships are available to residents of Eagle Creek. Social memberships have year round access to all of the social facilities of the Club as well as summer golf privileges.
- Non-Resident Golf Equity Membership: The Non-Resident Golf Membership is currently available. Non-Resident Golf Members pay the same annual golf dues. Paying cart fees and enjoying the same tee time reservation privileges and walking privileges as Golf Equity Members. Non-Resident Golf Members also have full use of the Tennis & Fitness Complex, Dining Rooms and All Social Events.
Q9. What am I obligated to pay for a membership in the Club?
You are obligated to pay a one time membership initiation fee determined by the Club at the time of joining. You will also be responsible for the annual capital assessment as well as any continuing assessment obligations at the time of joining or while you are a member.
Q10. Will there be annual dues or food and beverage spending minimums?
Each member will be responsible for annual dues and an annual food and beverage minimum as is customary at fine clubs. Fees levels will be determined by the type of membership. The Club is on a fiscal year beginning November 1 through October 31 each year.

Q12. What facilities are offered at Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club?
Members, their families and guests will enjoy the following extraordinary Club Facilities:Clubhouse The spectacular, newly renovated Clubhouse overlooks a cypress preserve, lake practice putting green, the first tee and ninth green of the golf course. As the center for the Club’s activities, the Clubhouse offers a Grille Room, Main Dining Room, Cypress Room (used for member-sponsored parties and banquets), a top-of-the-line golf pro shop, updated men’s and ladies locker room facilities, a conference room, card rooms and offices for the Club’s administration team.
Golf Course Rated annually among the best in Florida, the Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club golf course was designed by noted golf course architect Larry Packard, with subsequent redesigns and modifications by former United States winner, CBS golf analyst and Eagle Creek PGA Professional Emeritus, Ken Venturi. Members of Eagle Creek enjoy year-round golfing events organized by its Golf Committee and superbly run by its golf professional team. An exceptional practice facility consists of a driving range, practice chipping area, sand bunker and a putting green all located near the Clubhouse.
Tennis & Sports Complex The Tennis & Sports Complex located at Crystal Lake features Eagle Creek’s tennis, tennis pro shop, bocce, fitness, aerobics and swimming programs as well as dining at our poolside Crystal Lake Cafe. Our Tennis facilities consist of seven state-of-the-art Har-Tru tennis courts. A full tennis program, including instruction, is provided by excellent and friendly USPTA accredited professionals.
Q13. Will my family members be welcome at the Club?
The gift of spending quality time with members of your family is priceless. The Club is committed to providing an enjoyable environment where this can be accomplished. The definition of a family guest includes: Member’s children, grandchildren, mother, father, sister, brother and their spouses/spousal equivalent. Family Guest Regulations are available through the membership office.
Q14. May I invite guests to the Club?
Having your friends enjoy the Club’s exceptional facilities with you is a wonderful attribute of membership in the Club. Guest – A guest is a person entertained in one’s house and a person to whom hospitality is extended. Guest Regulations are available through the membership office.
Houseguest – Visiting guests temporarily residing, 2 weeks or less, with Eagle Creek members as their houseguest and are eligible for guest privileges when registered with the membership office. Those staying for any length of time without the presence of the member fall under the renter guidelines. Houseguest Regulations are available through the membership office.
Renter – a tenant/lessee of property in the Eagle Creek Community. All renters must pay an application fee plus 6% State of Florida sales tax. Rental Programs and Regulations are available through the membership office.
Q15. What is the golf course like?
The extraordinary 18-hole course winds through cypress preserve and pine forests, with residential housing on only six holes. The course can be played from five different sets of tees, with total yardages ranging from 5369 to 6918 yards. Accuracy is a premium off of the tee due to our challenging driving course. At Eagle Creek, golfers are given a choice of walking or riding the course anytime of the day.
Q16. Are there many member golf tournaments at Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club?
Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club hosts an even amount of tournaments for men, women and couples throughout the year.
Q17. How far in advance can I make tee time?
Tee times can be made 2 days in advance by either calling the golf shop at 239-774-2202 or via the Club’s website using the online tee time system.
Q18. What is the appropriate dress attire?
Upon entering the Clubhouse, gentlemen must remove their hats. Fitness or pool attire is not acceptable in the Clubhouse at any time. Approved tennis attire is permitted in the Clubhouse for lunch in the Grille Room. Denim attire is not acceptable in the Clubhouse.
Appropriate golf attire is acceptable at all times in the lobby and Grille Room, including the evening hours.
For evening seating in the Main Dining Room, gentlemen are required to wear jackets and slacks and ladies' are asked to dress in a fashion compatible with the dress required of gentlemen.
Special evening events requiring specific attire will identify the appropriate dress in promotional communications for the event.
Q19. How do I host a party at Eagle Creek Golf & Country Club?
Private parties are welcome at Eagle Creek. Members are required to book a date through the Food and Beverage Manager who will work with the member to create a lasting memory - no matter how big or small.

Q20. How do I book my event?
In order to book an event, a deposit and signed contract is required. When booking a holiday party or Saturday night event, it is recommended that you book as soon as possible as those are the most popular days.
